Meet Angela

Angela is a Partner at Eclipse, co-managing the firm’s operations. She leads the Investor Relations, Fundraising, and Marketing Communications functions. She also directs many of the firm’s growth initiatives.

A member of Eclipse’s founding team, Angela helped orchestrate AUM growth from $125 million to $4.0 billion. Her role combines a passion for long-term relationship building, with strategy development and execution of critical stakeholder initiatives.

Prior to Eclipse, Angela worked at venture capital firm, Formation 8. Before that she worked at the Stanford Technology Venture Program as the Director of the Stanford Entrepreneurship Network. While there, she mentored Stanford entrepreneurs, developed a robust network of investors and strategic advisors, and led the communications and outreach strategy. In addition, she was a board member of BASES, the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students.

Angela joined the Stanford Technology Venture Program from Khosla Ventures, where she was a member of Pierre Lamond’s team working closely with both the wider investment team and portfolio companies. Angela began her career as a marketing strategist for McCann Worldgroup, where she was part of a team charged with discovering and building creative strategies for agency clients, including brands such as: Microsoft, HP, Cathay Pacific, and The Boys and Girls Club of America.

Growing up in the north of England – where winter evenings start at 3:45pm (if the sun shines at all) – Angela developed some key life skills: resiliency and grit in the face of adversity, a deep sense of optimism, and an extensive repertoire of rugby club songs.
