Greg Reichow

Greg is a Partner at Eclipse and is drawn to early-stage technical teams tackling complex hardware problems. He has spent his career building and leading teams to help scale multifaceted products from initial concepts to high-volume production.

Prior to Eclipse, Greg was the executive leader of global manufacturing, factory/automation engineering, supply chain, and product excellence at Tesla. In this role, he led growth from low-volume Roadster production to fully integrated Model S and X manufacturing in a revenue run rate exceeding $8B. As the Senior Vice President of Operations at SunPower, Greg led the growth of manufacturing operations from pilot scale to more than $2B in annual revenue. In this role, he was responsible for the rapid implementation and growth of advanced silicon, cell, and panel manufacturing operations globally. Earlier in his career, Greg held various roles in manufacturing and quality in the semiconductor industry.

Greg has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, Greg enjoys developing software, backpacking, and mountain biking.

I cannot — and don’t want to — imagine building a frontier tech company without Greg. As a full-stack operator, Greg brings a calm and highly focused approach to problem solving, which has been instrumental to our rapid growth. Be it in engineering, operations, commercial, or organizational matters, no matter where you need his advice and help, he will be there for you. We could not ask for a better investor, board member, and business partner.
